Zig nodded at the greeting offered by the similarly colored male named Fishhook. "I do," he answered. "I belong to a pack just east of here," he paired the words with a quick nod of his head in the direction of his territory. It was a new place of residence for him, but it already felt like home. He was pretty easy to please, though, so that wasn't necessarily saying much. 

"What about you?" he asked curiously. He hadn't seen this wolf in his recent travels down the coast, nor could he match the male's scent to any of the many wolves he had scented in the area.
