Broken Boulder White Diablo

there is a foreign scent that crosses over and into the sanctuary's claimed territory and vilkas zeroes in on it with a singular mind. he does not spend long assessing it: he notices it, bows his head to draw it in and then he is on the move his long legs carrying him after the trespasser with both swiftness and purpose. as he draws nearer his struggle begins: the internal war with himself torn between what instinct tells him to do ( attack without questions ) and what he knows he must do ( be diplomatic — as to which he narrowly avoids snorting aloud ). this internal war manifests itself in the bristle of wispy hairs at his nape and along his spine, in the fidgety way in which he shadows the inky woman — would her scent not have been so starkly different and the white mark on her eye given her away she might have been mistaken for lily at first glance. he moves with the wilderness of a living flame, seaweed green gaze locked upon her as he, for the moment, is begrudgingly content to shadow her.
