each rise of her tail over her back, the raptorial firebrand takes as an attempt at dominance even if she does not mean it that way, and it is the kerosene to his fire. she is nothing on claimed land and he's further pushed into kill mode. her life means nothing to him and he is not burdened by the morals of the society he lives in. he's a warrior and if he were to end her life he would not lose sleep over it. she should have accepted that she couldn't wander through claimed lands unescorted and taken the easy out while he offered it to her. he snorts like an enraged bull and thrashes not caring if her teeth carve into the flesh of his muzzle. it is flesh and it would heal ...but his tactic of jerking her neck back works and she releases her grip upon him.

he has a few seconds to regroup and blocks her throat attack as he tucks his muzzle close to protect it and angles his body quickly with a side-step so that she makes contact with his shoulder instead. the collision smarts and a pack-mate joins the fray going after the woman. vilkas does not focus upon his pack-mate for too long; his attention never truly diverting from his fight for more than a few seconds.
