for whatever reason eris, as quick as she joined the fray, falls back. vilkas does not spare her any further glances and does not have the time to try to deduce her reasoning as he is left alone ( more or less ) with the trespasser once more. the inky woman rises on her hind legs to grab ahold of him but vilkas dodges her hold. he debates making a flurry of attacks: he wants her to bleed, to bear some sort of memento of what happens when she trespasses. he aims for one last attack at her shoulder, seeking to splice her flesh with his teeth. whether his attack hits or misses doesn't matter. whether he is the winner or loser no longer matters. he grows more agitated by the moment. he simply wants her gone. "get out." he snarls at her. he gives her a moment to turn tail and run but will chase after her to ensure she does not return.

when the inky woman is gone from bracken sanctuary's claim and vilkas is confident she will not return he heads deeper into the heartland of the territory to tend to what little of his wounds he can.
