Dawnlark Plains peonies

Loir offered a smile to the pup after she said her name. "Faa", in Loir's opinion, maybe meant "Faye", or another name. The pup was young, obviously, so it would take her a while to be able to say things correctly, like human children. They babbled until they could form words, same thing with pups apparently. "I'm from Morningside just like you." Loir said kindly, smiling. "If you think I'm a stranger, no need to worry."

If she was a stranger, why would she be here? Unless maybe she was misunderstanding and Faye just would maybe think Loir was a Morningsider, just not a wolf she knew.
