Swiftcurrent Creek buckle my shoe

She had run. And run. And run. And when she felt like she couldn't run, she kept on running. The fiery redhead had sprinted all the way back to the creek, her heart pounding in her chest and her ears ringing. Only when Fox slipped into the safety of the creek's boundaries did she slow her pace a smidge, though she still loped along. She did not know if Leaf or Magpie had managed to escape, and she had not even noticed Danica there. Panting, heaving, Fox made her way to the creek and drank from its rushing waters.

When she backed away from the bank, she noted the pain between her shoulders. She could not reach it herself, and she yearned for Haunter, Scimitar, Razo, Cutthroat, anybody, really, to soothe her wound. Ferdie had gotten her good, and although she could not assess the damage herself, others would note that the fur between her shoulderblades was matted with blood and a hunk of fur and flesh was missing, roughly five inches in diameter.
