Northstar Vale shotguns and barbed wire fences

Welcomed so thoroughly into the position he'd precariously placed himself into, Bruges sank against her, with a rumbling, pleasant growl disappearing into the thick fur of her shoulder. Her forlegs pulled him closer to her, and he lowered himself so that his chest pressed against hers, and he brought his hips closer to hers, though an animalistic part of him wanted him to straddle her completely, albeit in this somewhat unorthodox position. As close as they were, he hungered for more, and when her high, sweet voice crooned an imperative note into the air, he gave into the urge that had possessed him earlier, and lifted his near hind leg, moving so that he straddled her. 

It was slightly uncomfortable, being in that position, what with her hind knees sort of in the way, but he couldn't help himself. He wanted to be on top of her, but this position certainly wasn't going to do it. His tail waved from side to side, and he realized, then, how ridiculous they looked- but feeling the warmth of her stomach against his was still quite nice. He gave the size of her muzzle an affectionate kiss, but trailed past her ear, and nudged her shoulder, as he pulled himself off her and stood, uttering a low, beseeching note, urging her to roll over and stand.
