Later, he thought he might look back at how paranoid he'd been when he'd first met her and laugh. Here he was now, seeking the near-final permission to take her, and he received it, as she sturdied her stance. Fortunately for her, Bruges was light on his feet and thugh he was tall, he didn't have too much weight resting atop his feet that would then rest atop her. She invited him, so he moved, still tending to her with gentle caresses of his muzzle against one hip, and then the other, pressing his chest against her hindquarters for a moment before he rose onto his hind feet, and angled himself forward. 

He pulled himself closer to her, rather than pulling her to him, and felt his own breath begin to quicken. She still had the opportunity to pull away from him, though his forelimbs were long enough to firmly grasp her hips. He didn't squeeze her, necessarily, but in the advent of such passion, he couldn't help himself but want her as close to him as possible. He ran his teeth through the stiff fur at the base of her neck, and with a breath of hot air, pushed himself forward and into the sensation that he so desired.
