she is happy to walk in any direction with him, so long as they are walking together... but it does help that he picks the direction she has started in. her pace varies. sometimes, she walks between delight's towering stilt legs. sometimes she lingers behind, nipping at his tail. and now.. she barrels ahead as fast as her little legs will carry her towards something interesting — a very shiny rock. daddy, look!
