Alpine Lake then there was darkness

Their long claws seeped into the dirt, once lifted upward bringing the forests residue with. They stepped forward, an emerald that held the curiosity of a child within its gloss, "Everything."

The greed to fill the void, devour what would satisfy the glutton that their stomach rumbles to. They want it, they want to taste that satisfying meal that would bring the end to their desires. But the world has yet to give the opportunity despite how much they have ate. People, canines, felines, rodents, trees, grass, and even dirt. None of it was memorizing enough to crave again, and to satisfy their journey of a feast.
