All Welcome
The koa had wandered from his sister's company for the first time since waking up to her urging words that night on the shore. It had only been a few days, and he was still weak and tired easily but being stubborn and restless, he had decided to go for a walk down the beach. Ahe would have strongly discouraged him from taking this stroll and that's why he had waited until she left to find food; she couldn't tell him no if he didn't actually ask. Besides, it was just a walk, he would be fine. Or, that's what he told himself, but the longer he was active the more he coughed until finally, the ali'i had to stop and take a seat.

His whole body shook violently as he hacked, and he grew frustrated with the whole thing. He was tired of being weak and not being able to do a damn thing without almost coughing up a lung. He swallowed hard when his coughing attack finally subsided, and Keanu looked out across the night-darkened sea in front of him. He was thankful for the bright luminescent light of the moon; it glinted off the moving waves and offered light to what would have otherwise been a pitch-black shore. With a long sigh, the bear gave into the fact that he would have to rest here for a bit before making the trek back to where he and his sister had been camped out.
The idea of death is the only thing that tempers our spirit.
