Moonspear it gets better

Vela was glad once they were past the burned forest. Something didn't sit well with her looking at those dark trees. She decided that she preferred living trees. Though, she was curious to explore it for the sole reason that he father said it was dangerous. Vela was getting a bit fed up with this trip, however, she didn't complain. She wasn't used to traveling so far to something that she wanted to see. Then again, she usually stayed around their territory. Not traveling so far as she did now.

It was clear her father was familiar with this forest and the path he was taking. Vela followed her father eagerly as he continued. She didn't care if there had been a pack before. Her father hadn't mentioned if it was a strange pack or the pack he had been in. It would probably not be the latter as her father was getting old. Vela didn't mean any disrespect by that thought, but from his stories, she could easily deduct that her father had been at Moonspear for a while.

She hoped that they would reach their destination soon. The girl wanted to know what her father's obsession, correction, love for the ocean was all about. Vela wondered if it would have the same impact on her. Perhaps it was extremely disappointing as she had been living to this moment for a long time. However, she took in as much as she could. Her father lived here when he was young when he was her age. That made her think of the future and where she might end up a few years from now.
