Wick arrived in the Teekon Wilds on the bottom left corner of the map. It was snowing, though only lightly. The coywolf was hungry, which was nothing new. Food would only be harder to come by as time went on. It was nearing winter. Wick bent down to drink from the creek, which was not frozen yet. The water was so cold it ached as it went down her throat. Probably there were no fish in the water. They’d all migrated to warmer waters. No matter. Wick would find a rabbit or a squirrel or something else to tide her over. She always did. For now, she followed the creek east to see where it would lead.
