Rising Sun Valley There and Back Again [Discovery Thread]

Last post from me, since I suddenly can’t think of a damn thing to write. I’ll get this archived after you respond. Thank you for the thread! You really helped me out with this! ^_^

It was a good day, no doubt. Red had gotten everything she had wanted out of it: an adventuring partner, and to explore more of her forest. (It was her forest, wasn’t it? It might as well have been, considering no one else but a select few knew it was here). But the most important thing she had gained this day had also been the most unexpected. She had gained a friend. At least, she thought she had. Ptarmigan could think what she wanted, but the coywolf was convinced they were now best friends and always would be.

Alas, it was time go home to the Sunspire. In the back of her mind, Red knew she was beginning to think of this place more as her home than the mountain, but she was not fully conscious of this thought quite yet. With a shake of her head at the odd feeling traveling through her, she barked her farewell to the she-wolf standing beside the lake, her tail wagging as a sign of friendship and good will. Then she turned and began making the long trek back to Ferdie and the others.
