Gilded Bay up on the sun, lookin' sad and beautiful

he's interrupted by the approach of a stranger, startled at first but quickly relaxing as he turns to look at the other. a striking dark man, with mismatched eyes and markings like nothing he's seen before. his gaze lingers over his features, a little awestruck — at least, enough to forget his manners entirely. yeah, he agrees softly, glancing back out to the ocean as he realizes he's staring. it's beautiful. like nothing i've ever seen before. and so are all the strangers of paradise, it seems.
