While she greeted them with a nod and a small smile, Tulu fluttered his wings, nearly hitting her in the head, as he cawed to welcome them. They outnumbered their intruders, even without counting her raven friend, and this made her feel a lot more confident. She puffed out her chest as she took her place beside the men, staying ever so close to Damien, and was annoyed they still didn't know what the strangers were doing here. Surely they must've noticed the fresh scent of markings and other signs the forest was inhabited? Then again, maybe they were dealing with wolves who didn't give a crap about that or were too slow to grasp the seriousness of their situation.
