being (ahem) a lady's man, there were certain things rannveig had come to expect when ladies first met him. having a rock chucked at him was not at the top of that list, and stupidly, he only barely managed a dodge before he was clobbered right in neck. the assault took him by surprise and for a moment he just blinked dumbly at the rock, and then at her -- is this what being mugged felt like?

after a full dramatic ten seconds of blinking rather accusingly at saucy, rannveig managed to speak. "what!" he exclaimed, his tail waving despite the false affront in his voice: "reflexes? so this is how you greet everyone, right? not just because i am devastatingly handsome and you were so taken aback by that?"
