This guy's perspective was far different than her own, just from what he said.  He didn't seem to follow what she'd always been taught as the most wise decisions, but if he wanted to risk his own hide to be cool, that was up to him.  To each their own.  Again, she shrugged. I suppose it would.  But when I set out from home, that wasn't exactly the goal I had in mind.  I wanted to go learn and see what was out there.  If here doesn't like me, maybe I'm just supposed to look elsewhere. The more she thought, the more that seemed to be the case. Sure, that was annoying because she'd wasted so much time ambling around here, but she wasn't going to force it.  She'd be a good asset for whatever pack ended up liking her, and then she'd be happy for a while.  Next year maybe might be a better year for taking risks.. Not now.
