With severity and direct orders, Midar had been sent to find Alarian while Damien, almost desperately, licked off the blood from Nyx's star-kissed forehead, searching for the injury. The fact that they had earned their pack a proper fortress went straight to the back of his head, and the feline corpse that had just caused so much turmoil laid forgotten just behind him. Nothing mattered at that moment, nothing but the safety and health of the one that would finally give him a proper scion.
