he casts another look about as she mentions that she'd once lived here. there's no way for brisbane to tell how long ago the fire came through here and destroyed this place but he suspects it was a while ago. not so long as to give it a chance to rebuild itself but long enough that the ash is gone and the smell of burnt wood is only present in the blackened wood of the trees. not sure much can live here as it is; he drawls in contemplation. i'm just passin' through. the coywolf admits and in regards to this territory specifically: it's the truth. his intentions of coming to the teekon wilds, however; were not admittedly as pure as 'passing through' but he sees no reason to bring it up and certainly not to a stranger.
