Had she more time to consider him, she may have paused to reconsider the stories scrawled across his grizzled mein—instead, she elected to add her own to the crowded canvas of silver and bone. 

Three, two—with surprising agility, the amazonian warrior spun on a heel to meet him chest-to-chest, and attempted knock his blow aside with a crack of her own muzzle across his own. If successful, she would drive her own teeth to his cheek, clamp down, and grapple until he made his next move.
