when it came to new events or drama, hogo was usually the one out of the loop. not that he purposely ignored it, the poor boy was just so blissfully unaware of everything. but no one, not even hogo-the-clown could ignore ford’s blood staining the sand.

”holy shit. what the fuck. what the fuck??” he probably spent a couple hours repeating this, pacing back and forth, sniffing the blood and immediately turning away to hurl. what happened? who did this? and where the hell was ford?

the scene painted a very vague picture. someone had intruded their quiet beach and beat the shit out of their leader. and now he was gone. hogo wanted to see who the culprit was, but he was not a confrontational kind of guy. and whoever the guy was, he could probably kick his ass. so of course hogo decided to go out and look for him.

now hogo wasn’t the best tracker in the world. there were probably an array of others who were qualified for the job. but hey, he saw the blood first (that’s what he assumed at least) and if he wasn’t able to simply follow a trail, well, that would be embarrassing.

the trail took him well away from the coast and into a field. damn, did someone kidnap the guy? oh god that better not’ve happened. hogo wasn’t about to fight off a bunch of abducting lunatics today.

he stopped in the middle of the field and looked in all directions. “ford?” his voice was a whisper on the wind. being in the middle of no where on your own was nerve wracking. “are you here?”
