Living within such an abundant realm was a shift to Parvati's norm, but she was adapting as well as could be imagined. She did not invest her time in getting to know the members of the pack but she did spend hours roaming the forest, captivated by the many different kinds of trees and grasses and plants, all of which were new to her - and so beautiful.

It would be best to find the wolves native to the forest and befriend them, but it wasn't in her nature to seek out companionship in such an overt way; the exceptions were plentiful though, ranging from Deimos to Ramsay, the very man who lured her to the forest — but her circumstances had been different then.

At this point, as a wolf of the dark woods, Parvati only knew what she had been raised to know: that her place was with the other women, of which there were a limited few. So she kept herself entertained in her studies, even going so far as to collect samples of the plants she had found so that she could find someone in the future and learn more about them.

With an assortment of (honestly useless) samples of grass, fern, berry sprig and assorted other bits of forest-related detritus collected between her teeth, she roamed closer to the heart of the territory and kept an eye out for someone that she could learn from.
