She had not ventured from the depths of the woods since her arrival, too enamored by the strange new land she had discovered and the people within it. The woman had mostly kept to herself; she studied every inch of the forest that she came in to contact with and rarely took breaks, although when she did they were prompted by Ramsay lurking nearby or Maegi, who would query her for more of her history. It felt good to be a part of the woodland pack — different, but that's what she liked so much.
Thus when Parvati felt an itch in her paws - this need to distance herself for a few hours, which pulled her free of the darkness of the forest - she was surprised by the desire. She would not go far. There was little thought of danger to the woman as she slowly roamed out from one grove or the next, in to the immense field that bordered the territory. The last time she had visited this space had been an intense moment in her life. She barely recognized the expanse as it filled her vision; but she did notice one peculiar thing that stood out.
The dark shape of a man she thought she knew. (Perhaps knew was the wrong term; she had met Deimos briefly but they had, after all, been separated). Parvati moved closer and chuffed, the tiny boof of her call breaking the stillness of the morning.
