Since her arrival, Paarthurnax sensed a great deal of tension throughout the ranks. Swiftcurrent Creek was indeed a large pack compared to those she'd most recently been a part of, though it's numbers were nowhere near as great as Samarkand's. The land on which they'd lived had been vast and open, but crowded. And despite this, it had often been a lonely place for her. Swiftcurrent was different. It was ideal. She just needed to help it heal, starting with its many wounded.

Scimitar and Danica seemed to be on the mend, and she was glad to see the beginning of improvements in them already. It had only been perhaps a week since she's first seen to their injuries, and it looks like they were taking better care of themselves. As she prepared to look around for any other wolves who may be in need of her assistance, her attention was dragged away when Bazi started to speak. Paarthurnax looked her way, a puzzled look marrying her lovely features. She was unaware of altercation with a neighbouring pack, and had not questioned her patients in regard to how they'd gotten their wounds. But Paar began to put together the pieces of the puzzle, though she couldn't doubt the new feelings of uneasiness that groped her heart.

The crimson wolf did not put forth any nominations for councillers, simply because she did not know anyone well enough to be appointed such a task. She did have questions, but not the kind she wished to ask it loud. Instead she remained quiet, concerns racking her mind, and waited for this unsettling meeting to further progress.
