So many things happened while I was on vacation! Phew!

Kaskara had done her utmost to help Bazi and Scimitar find their missing leader, the woman named Fox she had never met. It was her sworn duty to assist Bazi in anything she required since the day she had sworn her allegiance to the white dove and was accepted into the pack. As far as she was concerned, though she would never say it aloud, she would look to Bazi before she looked to Fox for instruction.

It didn't seem that choosing would be necessary, however, as Bazi explained to the group gathered that Fox was no longer their alpha. She quickly stepped into the role, assigned Scimitar the rank of Beta, and moved onto nominating two others as counselors. Kaskara accepted these swift changes with little reaction aside from pride at her brother's ascension into leadership. She did not know Fox, or Danica, or Njal, or Tuwawi for that matter, so the drama that seemed to be unfolding from the three wolves still present wasn't something that bothered her.

Kas did, however, watch Njal's reaction to his mate's words. His movements spoke of flight, and she wondered who was watching their children. Would Bazi be so quick to anger at their announcement? The white dove didn't seem the type, though it was true Kas didn't know her new alpha that well yet. If Scimitar trusted and respected her, so did Kas. But she hoped that there were no more confrontations today, since their pack was already dwindling with Fox's departure, and now this announcement of not only two healthy adults leaving, but their pups as well.
