This was the first official meeting since Fox's departure. Which meant it would be the first meeting of the Creek with Bazi as their Alpha. While many held doubts when the white female rose to power, Galileo continued to trust her leading skills would be as impeccable as her coat. While he waited for her to speak, the freckled male picked casually at the fur on his chest.
Then as the new Alphess voice rose above the murmurs, he turned his head and focused his attention on her. She seemed even smaller than usual with Scimtar guarding her back. Though truth be told, they made a good couple and according to Bazi's words, a lead team. The male was appointed Beta, and Galileo didn't hesitate to dedicate a smile to him. He knew the man was caplable of leading he had proved so on the hunt.
The explanation she gave of Fox's dissapereance didn't earn any reaction from the elder, he didn't really want to hear her reasons. She had left and that was that. He didn't hold any grudges for the fiery femme but he was utterly dissapointed at her lack of responsability when Leaf and Magpie were captured. Still there was nothing else to say about Fox, just like the meeting, the Creek had already moved on.
Galileo's ears pricked as he heard his name exit the new ruler's mouth. He had not expected for her to make any reference to him so what she proposed caught him completely off guard. He smiled warmly at her and dipped his head graciously as a thank you. He would be honored to serve the pack and the girl who had brought him there in the first place. His amber eyes searched the blonde girl who was also named, and though he stared at her for a while she was far to focused on something else to notice he wanted to congratulate her.
Though some weren't as cheerful with the news. Tuwawi, the mother of the Creek's pups spoke bluntly, announcing she and her mate, Njal were already planning to leave, of course taking the young creatures with them. Galileo's heart dropped when he heard the determination in her voice, he would've loved to see the puppies grow on the creek.
