Finally they were going to get some answers. Shadow knew that Bazi was dealing with a lot but that didn't make the wait any easier, it was as if everything came to a stop and everyone in the creek waited for some kind of guidance.

Scimitar's promotion to Beta was hardly surprising to the silver wolf, in time he would prove to be a good leader. When Bazi nominated Galileo and Danica as counselors, disappointment pricked at his pelt but he ignored it. Instead after carefully masking the tornado of emotions going on inside, he smiled at the golden wolf though it was filled with tension. And after a moment it was gone, replaced by an expressionless look as he continued staring at Bazi and Scimitar.

He did not voice his nomination for wolves for the counselor positions simply because his mind was in a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions and if he did speak, the words would not make sense at all and also because he did not want to speak at all. For fear that if he did, it was to say he would like to leave but he actually doesn't want to but in the spur of the moment he would have said something that he didn't mean and would regret.

Shadow watched as Njal went to stand beside her, perhaps it was best for them to leave after all things were still unsteady with The Sunspire thus endangering the children. Even though he had grown close to Njal and Tuwawi's puppies and would hate to see them go, maybe it was for the best.

Again he did not speak, instead offered them a small smile even though they probably couldn't see it. His other packmates would be heartbroken to see the pups go but if that was their final decision, he would respect that. Though it would be hard for the pups to move, they were still young after all.
