Rain was coming, and Orson relished the smell of it in the air. Less so when it was finally coming down and drenching her, chilling the air and subsequently her body. She tried to avoid it as much as she could, hurrying across the flatlands to the dense forest she could see in the south.
As much as she loved exploring new lands, she liked knowing things more. So this feeling of being lost, a stranger in a strange land, made her extremely uncomfortable, though she was wont to express it. Not that she really had anyone to express to at the moment.
And that was another thing that she resented at the moment. Loneliness. While she had spent a good half of her life as a lone wolf, it didn't necessarily mean that she liked it. She was social by nature and by design and longed for some kind of company. Even if it was someone who was a total dick.
But, for the moment, there was no one. She panted as she finally reached the Woods, noting the oppressiveness of its canopy as she entered. Good. It'd keep most of the rain off.
