Coconut Grove Put the lime in the coconut and drink 'em both up

Lokie was much too distracted by the creature hanging off of his maw that he neither seen nor heard the other wolf approach. It wasn't until the wolf was close by that Lokie noticed him at all. His ears perked, Need free? he was asked. He was quick to bob his head up and down, which in turn had the crab flying up and down. That did not help the situation. Lokie suppressed another whine as he closed the distance between he and the stranger. 

Lokie had a trusting heart, and it never did occur to him that someone else would hurt him. After all, he never had any ill will, so why would they? He wasn't very street smart. When he was close enough, he paused, waiting to see how the other male was going to help him out.
