Near the border of Swiftcurrent Creek
A drizzle starts, and that’s when Aurin urges their plan to steal food into motion.
Nose wrinkles, Boreas glances at their brother—trusting yet cautious. Wolves aren’t really to be messed with, right? That’s what their folks always told ‘em. It’s better to avoid their territory than go strolling right in.
“Aurin,” Boreas says, trotting up towards their larger sibling. “Ain’t this… risky?” It’s rare when Boreas ever questions their sibling’s decisions, so Aurin turns sharply, snapping teeth in their direction; “Just shut up and follow my lead. It’ll work.”
“‘lright, if ya say so.” Boreas is far from convinced, but they trust Aurin. Calling him stupid comes to mind for a split second, yet the red fox shoves it out of their mind.
