Stavanger Bay things are changing

Thistle heard him and for a brief moment thought about ignoring him, but realizing that was cruel she backed up and turned. A streak of dirt across her face and one ear splayed upside down and the other cocked forward she looked at him with azure blues waiting and dreading all at once what he wanted. Was he finally here to tell her what she dreaded since he started breaking promises. That he didn't really love her, that he wanted her to completely leave the den, because he got who he wanted all along?
