He had left the pups playing and tending their own business and snuck out, informing one of the sitters that he would be gone for a while but not the whole day. He had ran hard and long until he reached a familiar area, his heartstrings tugging as a flood of memories made him ache with nostalgia. Easthollow was nearby and Morningside had once been too. Friends and family nearby, so close within distance yet the relationships faded and distanced....he was beginning to learn that this was the way whether he wanted it to be or not.
