Ellie completely and utterly ignored the male's twinkling humor-filled eyes, content to sit still and give him a deadpan expression. She said, "I can say whatever the fuck I want to. I don't know why you feel the need to parent me since we don't know each other at all. You woke me up. I haven't slept soundly in days. So what the fuck do you want?"

She knew she was being a bitch. Ellie often knew that she was -- undeniably -- a huge bitch. She just... didn't care. If others couldn't handle her attitude, they could go f*ck themselves. This was why Ellie didn't have many friends, and why she ended up wandering from place to place so often. No one ever wanted to be around her. Sometimes it hurt, realizing that she was the reason she had no friends. Other times she didn't give a shit about the world.

This was one of those times.
