If I'm messing up a post order, sorry! I just felt like Njal would be speaking up sooner rather than later.

There was a tangible strangeness to the meeting now - as each wolf fell in to silence, Njal thought he felt tension in the air. Perhaps it was his own nerves, his own apprehension. Tuwawi stood firm beside him, unafraid to voice their plans. The delta was in awe of her spine but also... A little annoyed. He would have liked to discuss this in private with Bazi before so openly shunning her; however, what was done could not be undone. Njal looked at their new leader (temporary as it might be at this point) and saw an empty expression upon her face. She said nothing and simply watched them, glassy-eyed, until another voice rose up. Scimitar, the new beta, and apparently the voice of the young leader.

"Where will you go? And how will you move the pups?"

The warden passed a glance across Tuwawi's face as he swept his golden eyes upon the agouti male. "While I was hunting for Fox I saw some distant mountains in the northeast. That is where Tuwawi has been exploring the past few days," He turned his attention back to Bazi now, hoping something he said would spark life within her, but assumed she was still in shock. "We thought to stay long enough for our children to be able to make the trip without aid, but now..." Now there was no reason for the creek wolves to assist them.

The bond had begun to sever.

"I was hoping for help from our friends -- our family here." Njal's expression warmed at this statement, and he watched Bazi still. She was family, they all were in some regard but none as connected to them as the pale girl. He would not beg her for assistance yet - but he did plead softly with his tone until silence once again dominated.
