Swiftcurrent Creek a new day's dawning

Aughhh, sorry! I was supposed to start, wasn't I? Quick response to get this in my threadlog so I don't forget about it again >< grr

It was a long weekend XD I apologize!

Danica stalked along the water's edge, her ears alert. She was hoping to run across something to eat, but to no avail. She still walked with a limp, her shoulder not quite healed, but better. Paarthurnax had said that she might always have it, and at this point, Danica wouldn't be surprised. The leg felt wrong, the muscle weaker than the other. She would be sad to lose the speed but at least she could still manage rather well. It wasn't too noticeable.

It wasn't long before she came upon Shadow, sitting on the bank and presumably staring at the sun. Danica had never been one for watching sunsets. She got bored far too easily for that and honestly would rather have her ears chewed off than sit still that long. He seemed to be enjoying it, however. "'lo there. You seem in a good mood." She quirked her brow at him. Maybe he could spare some of his apparent calm with her. She could use it right about now.
