At Easthollow, we have a circle of large stones. It's the central part of the pack. There's various stones with different meanings, and there are some deceased who meant much to us that are buried there. Keoni was, too. It was one of the reasons he missed home a lot; he missed sitting by the stone talking to her. He'd missed it on the road, and he missed it now.

It seemed that Jarilo wasn't seeing anyone like he was seeing Alya. Nikai didn't think to ask if Jarilo preferred it that way; mostly because before he had met Alya, Nikai hadn't really missed it in any way himself. It was just when he met her that he knew they were meant to be and that was what he wanted.
