One last short, terrible post for Danica ^^;

Bazi's words, while not unexpected, confirmed Danica's theory that Bazi was a much more decent being than she. Not that she didn't already know that. She didn't miss the double meaning behind her utterance, though, and the cold tone that enforced it. It was a sentiment that, while unfortunate, Danica held to wholeheartedly. If they allowed competition to settle right on their borders then they deserved the winter they would get as a result. She figured that Njal and Tuwawi would have already figured this out, however, after the mess with the Sunspire. She doubted they would risk the same thing happening, especially since they would be small in size to start out and have four defenseless pups to protect. Not that anyone in the Creek would be able to bring themselves to harm those pups.

She did not offer her help straight away. She did intend to, but she did not feel that now was the time. Instead she departed wordlessly, mind racing. They would recover, of course, but this meeting had been a lot to take in. She needed a few moments alone to process how she felt about all of this.
