He watched the raven's flight as it flew off the branch and into the dark sky and only when she said her name did his harsh gaze met hers again. Raven, huh. After staring at the distant horizon for a few moments, his cerulean gaze turned to stare down at the waters. He waded deeper into the sea and only stopped when the waves lapped against his knees. He scanned the shallows and suddenly dove into the water gracefully, jaws clutching a large fish. He flung it onto the shore and dove under again, grasping another large fish. He continued until they had about ten fishes, enough to feed both of time.

"If you are to journey and stay with me, you will have to work. This is not a charity, if you cannot earn your keep, you will leave. Do you understand?" he said coolly as he lowered himself onto his haunches next to the pile of fish, curled his tail around his ivory paws and began tearing into a large chunk of fish. The tip of his tail thumped against the ground, telling her she too, could eat.
