alamar's absence begins to nag at him, so he sets off in search of his companion, set on edge by the darkness even with the moon and stars lighting the way. he's certain his companion is near; surely he wouldn't go too far at night, when all sorts of odd creatures are lurking about.
turns out, someone is near — but it isn't alamar. the scent draws his attention first, but it isn't long before he sees the shadowy figure. um... hello? he calls, feeling awkward and a little scared at the same time. who the hell wanders around at night like that? creeps, probably. well, and him — maybe he shouldn't judge so much.
