( Sorry I took so long, dad suddenly wanted to take me to go get food outta nowhere. xD)
After telling her name to him, he put his cold and calculating gaze on her, causing her to freeze. Had she said something wrong? Did he dislike her name? Ever since her pride had been shattered, she distrusted everything she did.
She watched him turn back to the almost mildly cold waters, and watched as he leapt in the waters, with the fluidity of an otter, grasping a wriggling fish in his canines, and within minutes, he had a heap of them between the two of them. An expertised fisher, he is. He is one with Azazel. His next words interrupted her thoughts.
"If you are to journey and stay with me, you will have to work. This is not a charity, if you cannot earn your keep, you will leave. Do you understand?"
Raven would have said the same thing if it had been her in his paws. But she wasnt. He was obviously in charge here, and she did not mind it. He could have the leadership between the both of them. She was not ready for such a position yet, even if it was between just the two of them.
"I understand."
And with that, she saw him tear into the fish, and only after she gave her the allowance to do so, she settled down to eat, as well, murmuring a prayer of thanks to her Goddess.
