Swiftcurrent Creek a new day's dawning

"Well, I guess then that great minds think alike. Now I'll just sit and wait for it to crash and burn, then we'll really be twins." She winked. She appreciated his flippant use of 'sis', it was reminiscent of her own tendency to nickname individuals. He hadn't had one come up yet, but probably would at some point.

His pretense of offense made her crack a grin, and she nudged him back. "Only an insult if it's not true," she joked back. "For what it's worth, in my own personal opinion, I think you have a pretty good shot." Not that her own opinion counted at all in this matter. Still, she did hope it worked out for him.

"Getting there, though I'm going about crazy with the waiting. All this sitting around... I wasn't made for that." She flexed her leg, wincing a bit. "Get in line on that. I fully intend on a rematch once this heals. If I can catch them outside." She grinned more wolfishly than normal (being a wolf, all smiles have to be somewhat wolfish). "Not that I don't appreciate the offer. None of them have been sticking their noses near the Creek, have they?" She was unable to keep a bit of a hopeful edge from her voice. She didn't necessarily want a pack war, but a bit of a tussle might be fun.
