At the words he spoke, she felt not anger, but at ease at the face that she did not have to lead, so she oblidged by his name, even if he spoke it in a sneered manner. Keeping herself humble, she nodded. "Understood, Jarl." She beared in mind the name Syver, however, it caught her ear the most.
Again he spoke his language, yet it was in such a lovely way, as if he was giving a compliment to a person he adored. She put it out of her mind. He was probably speaking to himself. Raven's conscious refused to place kind images upon him, for she knew of his whereabouts and origins of pack life. Along with the treatment she received from him, no doubt she would have much more to face.
Listening to him speak of his previous alpha, he no longer held that reverence she heard him own in his voice when he called him to deal with her. It was as if he was proud of their savagery. Now...now he was still him, she supposed..but she saw a glint of happiness in his cold orbs. Not completely dark, for they held that slit of light. Almost imperceptible, but it resided in him.
Raven heard a word that again snapped her out of her own mind of silence.
" hrafn"
And he was looking dead at her.
Was that an insult, or a pet name, or a title? She furrowed her brow, knowing it wasnt a sentence, but he moved on.
"You do know I am a Viking right?"
She nodded. She assumed from the start he was whatever his Alpha was, for the spoke the same language and seemed to understand each others moves and manners.
"And I am a Mystic."
