Again, the pale hessian spoke his words of his ancestors, that Raven knew nothing of. She made the mistake of turning her stainless steel orbs to his, and she felt as though she were mentally drowning in them. A never ending sea of death by his own orbs, that held her prisoner at their depths. Realizing she was losing control of her mental state, Raven ripped her eyes from his, biting her tongue enough to draw blood. She heard him come back over to her, in his unintentional silent way, and knew he was going to say something else to chill her soul.
"Are you going to endure the punishment without making a sound like a Viking or are you going to scream, never entering the halls of Valhalla?"
At this, she almost whimpered. Asking a question like that spoke of pain that was sure to surpass her tolerance level. Would she be able to handle what the ivory Viking threw at her? She knew not...but if Azarartha would give her a blessing of some sort that blocked pain, she would gladly take it.
"Well, Raven?"
She closed her eyes. She had no clue what it was that would satisfy him. Should she show him his pain inflicted upon her would be remembered throughout the times, or should she bear it with grit teeth and silence? Such a puzzle.
"If showing the pain place to my burden from you will be remembered throughout all times of now, forever and eternity, I will voice the hurt, only if it satisfies you. Yet if that displeases you, I will make myy face of stone, and bear the pain with no indication, only having the echos of pain inside, to remember, while on the outside, there will only be silence, Jarl. "
She prayed if the pain inflicted upon her brought some
sort of sound from her maw, he would would chose the first decision, giving her mercy if she uttered any sound. She knew she was no viking, but if she had endure the pain in ways that he could silently, she would have to make something work. Whatever saved her life, and makes it easier to be with as little pain as possible in her punishment.
