Morningside Cuesta first discovery

Malik's fur rustled and raised along his spine as he flinched away from the sudden voice - oh, he was upwind... Of course someone else would know he's there. He was just relieved there were other wolves here, wherein his natural instincts should have made him wary of strangers, but he supposed that was the loner in him - starved for companionship. Wolves are stronger together, after all.
