She was a tiny creature, frustrated with her inability to speak or express herself in any other way than sounds and screams. She quieted and fell into a deep sleep with her pale sister, her neck laying over the ghost's form as images came to life.
Her form materializes in a frosted expanse that she felt she had been before, her orange ruby eyes surveying the plains where strange creatures likes to roam and play. Unlike her ivory sister, her dark patched of fur made it easy for her to be spotted. Her eyes met the girl next to her with a twinkle of mischief, she was not in the mood of a hunt or even to roam aimlessly but for once she allowed her sister to be in charge. She gave her a smile of sarcasm and delight as she gestured with her paw for Grub to lead the way, see I can be good.
This turn they hunted, next time they would play and cause trouble. She followed the ghost hunter as they stalked, her dark fur acting like black grass on the frosted backdrop. She took cues, followed like a good little girl that she wasn't but for her sister she would always be willing to be something she wasn't.
Before they could strike dark as came, it was a way of the landscape turning to her advantages over the ghost beside her. Ah, but that wasn't the only change. The herd was gone and now a flock of birds as dark as the makings on her nose and ears, now this was more like the scene she wanted. Had she done that?
Laughter came to her lips but it almost came as a whisper before thundering like the wings that now took flight, she had launched when her sister moved. The feeling of wings touched her fur just as a singular bird perched on not just her shoulder but another hovered over her sister. One of ivory, the other of ebony. A smile came to her lips as she first looked to the white bird on her shoulder, funny how she got the light ghost but maybe there was a symbolic reasoning for this. She laughed once more as her eyes met the gold of Grub's. How strange this place was.
