The boy thanked him with more grace than Njal could have expected, although his words were a bit long-winded as they often were, and the Alpha let him leave without another word. As Jace turned and slowly began to leave, Njal did the same thing - both males curious about the other, sluggish in their mannerisms in case there was further conversation to be had.
