Erika kept the smattering of French in her speech sparse, but Adair did Bazi no such courtesy. She slicked back her ears, glancing nervously between the pair of them. Had she lied? Were they in league with each other? No.. Erika was a mother; and a recent one at that - there was little time in her life for dastardly scheming. She seemed suddenly nervous, too, and that put Bazi on edge.

"You're making us nervous," she told the dark creature, speaking for both women in words she felt sounded.. diplomatic. "Please go."
