and so the game had begun! luli's tail wagged at last as she batted the pebble back at nüwu with a squeak. the sandy child had not tapped into all of her creativity yet, and had no idea how to make the game competitive- she did not know what a goal was, or even a winner. all she knew was to play until she or her sister grew tired- and so as if it was the first time again, nüwu would bat it back with the same enthusiasm, as if she still could not predict what might happen next.
