Whitefish River The First Day

So far the new guy seemed pretty boring. He just slept and was grumpy. For a brief moment she thought it had been kind of cool having someone else around that was new but now she was not so sure. Seemed pretty lame. He wasn't gonna join in games of mud monsters or anything like that if he was super lame, you know. A rock would be more interesting -- at least you could climb on a rock. That made it useful.

So, Nutmeg had wandered back to see if he'd turned into anything more interesting during his latest hibernation. Probably not. She might be younger, but her glance down the den tunnel to the shadow there was definitely one that knew she was superior here. Nutmeg was just a more awesome wolf. Deal with it.
